Antivirus on your server?

I've seen this with our Symantec AV on the server. In some cases, the mail will hold for a long time, finally get scanned, and then routed to the recipient.

Could it be that the sender is using Outlook (Exchange)? The old 'winmail.dat' issue is one I saw a lot, and had to tell my end users that if they received those, notify the sender to remove them from their address book, then re-add them without specifying that the recipient use Rich Text. This might be similar in that the message is ill-formed, coming from Outlook, and Domino awaits the AV scan (or something similar) before it will release it.
